Now I've been living in other states since I left for the Marine Corps in 1988. I've returned and began life in Iowa in May last year.

So, my question is... Why aren't the Finals on TV tonight? When I left the finals were on PBS. I've been able to watch plenty of HS stuff on MC22-IA. But tonight there's Girls Hockey on and not the finals. Why? Isn't this the freaking state of wrestling, or at least it used to be?

Because in today’s day and age, streaming is a thing. It’s free online on the website and the app.

IHSSN will air the State Wrestling Semifinals on Friday, February 21st. Viewers can watch on the IHSSN Cable Network or stream at IHSSN.com or the Watch IHSSN App by purchasing either Semifinal Pass (which gets you all three classes) or an Individual Semifinal Pass. IHSSN will air the State Wrestling Finals on Saturday, February 22nd beginning at 5:30. The finals will air on the IHSSN Broadcast Network and streamed for FREE at IHSSN.com or the Watch IHSSN App . To watch all matches throughout the tournament (February 19-22) you must have a FloWrestling subscription.

OK, I admittedly say that more tongue in cheek than usual. Because the boys in Boone suck and they contracted with shit bags to cover the boys events, it originally wasn’t supposed to be. But there was a lawsuit in this was part of the settlement. This is the last school year for the IHSSN network. I would say that’s good, but we’ll see what kind of stupid shit they come up with for next year.

My best bud works for IPTV. I'd be very surprised if they took over the broadcast.
They have a hard enough time filming volleyball and the 5 duals they did this year. They simply do not have the funds and more importantly, manpower to film multiple mats anymore.

They also have a lot of other content they are dishing out that eats up their days.

Hopefully someone steps up and does a quality job.

Correct, especially to cover all the mats. I know they'll freelance out to an extent, but Idk if they could swing the man power for everything. And tbf I'm not sure if they even have the equipment at this point either. It takes at least 5 people just to broadcast the small duals.

They've shifted gears over the past few years and are going heavy into studio controlled sets to manage the work load easier.

I Purchased a tv box on amazon called "vseebox elite". It is a tv box that connects to wifi and gets every channel including all sports channels, web channels and packages. I watch flo sports like they are regular tv channels. A one time purchase with no monthly fees. Its the best invention ever! I joined a few facebook groups for troubleshooting and tips if I get confused on anything. I purchased one just for watching movies but soon realized it also gets every cable channel, sports event, sports icket or package and even ppv events.

None of the Amazon ones have any reviews or descriptions. Red flag.

The company/product website says owning the box is legal. Ensuring you have proper subscriptions is required and liability is with the user.

You can't assume anything on Amazon, especially with tech products. Their site is full of scams.

Always look at the seller and check out reviews.
