Will Bowen redshirt?

I get where you’re coming from, but yes, it’s way too early to have this conversation. In this portal era, you never know what your roster is going to look like from one year to the next.
Assuming no transfers out… highly doubtful. We lose Bohannon at the 2, pretty much leaving Perkins. Both Ulis and Bowen have the size to defend the 2, so I imagine that there will be some combination of Toussaint, Ulis, Perkins, and Bowen in the backcourt at all times.
Unless of course Dix comes in and is immediately the more impactful off guard, though I suspect that will not be the case from pretty much any perspective aside from outside shooting (and I think Sandfort, Kris, Patrick, Perkins, and Ulis will all be improved shooting next year to help fill that void)

Why would he? Fran has always had more than 2 ball handlers on the team. This year alone, you have Bohannon, Ulis, Tousiant, Keegan can, Connor has in the past, Pmac has. That's 6 guys that can bring the ball up on just this years team.

There is a lot of versatility as noted with our guards next year as they all (Toussaint, Ulis, Bowen, Perkins, and Dix) all have ball handling / playmaking abilities. That's about as talented and DEEP of backcourt that we've had in long time.
Could see Perkins / Dix also swing to a 3rd guard position if we go small.
