I wouldn't do it on pure principle
A better question is whether Trump would accept a pardon if he had to produce an allocution statement.

If you make a list of your illegalities (with the help of your lawyer and white house lawyer) and admit fault (with the clause that he never lie and say he didn't do it after the fact).

It is a horrific move politically. Giving Trump a pardon would almost prove that the charges were levied because it was a witch hunt; she would validate her stupidity if she granted him a pardon.

if he is convicted and possibly incarcerated she should definitely pardon. would go a long way in bringing people together. only downside is he might continue to bang the republican party

Harris CANNOT pardon Trump for his 34 convictions. They are state crimes, not federal. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't. Please people, stop.

She should do what Biden should have done - persuaded the full weight of federal law enforcement to come after him with everything they have. He is a traitor and danger to this country. I say no pardon for Trump he'd exploit any grace he's given. Now I could see her pardoning Hunter if he receives an excessive sentence. The only way I think Joe pardons Hunter is if Trump wins.

Most Dems are just fine w/ folks like NY's Mayor and Senator Menedez facing the consequences of their actions.

No. It would not.
Not anymore than pardoning Sen. Menendez or any other politician who has committed crimes.
I have no clue to where her principles would guide her if that were her only consideration. But she's putting on a pragmatic/moderate front because that's what the political calculation requires right now, I can't say what that will look like in this hypothetical.
My own preference would be to choose whichever avenue will bring the Republican party and a critical mass of its base back to reality, back to being a 'normal' political party. And I'm not sure the pardon or not pardon will make a difference in that.

He’s going to get convicted for treason for what he did with the government top secret documents. Hell, I might make a deal with Putin to get what he knows about Trump. I’m sure Vlad would want something from us.
Could you please elaborate on what she could do to make you feel unified with the left?
