Will the Grad Transfer see anytime DAIJON PARKER at OT?

RIchmond is listed as questionable for this week
More like Parker should be playing for Richmond, out of the Colonial Athletic Conference, rather than a Big 10 school.

I don't know what we should have expected. The guy wasn't even all conference at his DIII school last year, yet somehow he was tabbed as the OL's savior because he's tall and weighs a lot.

I’m kind of blown away at how bad we did in the transfer portal.

Truly baffling.
Starting LB on an already good defense. A TE who is performing well, and one WR in Anderson who if given targets has been productive. McNamara was never healthy, but was clearly an improvement over Petras.
The o-line reinforcements have been underwhelming, as has Johnson.

Feth - plays and contributes
All - plays and contributes
The LB #10 - plays and contributes

MacNamara - Injured every week since August
Anderson - Non Factor
K. Brown - Non Factor
Parker - Does Not Play

3 out of 7 is not good, Sir

Parker won’t play. We got a guy in the transfer portal who made no post season honors at a DII school. Not sure why we brought him in. Our OL is the biggest area of need. We need a couple of starters from power 5 conferences, PERIOD!
He was picked up after Iowa missed on Walter Rouse. Rouse was a guy who could've anchored the line. No offense to Parker, but he is a depth guy at this level. Nothing more than that.

Will the Grad Transfer see anytime DAIJON PARKER at OTackle or is he a bust?
Parker was hurt and missed spring practice, and then was injured again in fall camp. It isn't clear how healthy he is now, although he has been listed as the #2 RT and has played in a couple of games. Because he's only got this one season of eligibility, if he doesn't play many (if any) meaningful snaps, then he's a bust, even if it has more to do with injury than ability.

For some of the younger guys, it's too soon to say. Anderson showed promise on the opening series of the season, and may contribute this season with improved QB play. Brown seems to be more of a project - great athlete but still learning how to play WR - and could still prove he is a worthy investment during the next two seasons. No one should have expected him to come in and immediately be WR1, although many people were. That said, it's reasonable to have expected more than we've seen thus far.

Feth- is starting to hit his stride. upgrade at lg imo.

Parker- a waste.

Anderson- I still have hopes for him a young guy.

All-dang good get and he will make some money next year.

McNamara- sad, crap Iowa luck.

Jackson- a great get need him badly.

Brown- maybe they should give him a shot at rb.

Seth Anderson should and would contribute at this level. He was a good pickup, but our scheme and passing attack stinks.

I had hopes for Parker to step up and in at one of those tackle spots. I could easily be wrong, but he was picked up due to the swing and miss on Walter Rouse (at least he didn't do us dirty like he did Nebby).

You don't always recruit starters and first round talent. Sometimes you recruit depth because you have to have that too. Hill is a great example: how should not be playing but now that he has to he has starting to do a pretty good job. Parker is not playing because he is not as good as Dunker or Richman, but, he if one of those guys goes down we have an experienced person out there that could keep the train moving.

Look at corner. It would have been great to have gotten an experienced corner in the portal just in case coop or Harris went down, but not a corner that was going to want to start.

The portal additions were all successful because you can't use injuries against a kid and all of them have made this team better.
