Not southern Iowa. Seems you need to get out and about a little more often and stop letting the fear mongers tell you what to believe.
I have neighbors that are both dems, republicans and maga’s he even has one of those stupid flags up.
I’m sure I have friends that are dems and republicans.
I don’t choose my friends based solely on a political party because I’m not in a cult.
You can, and will, disagree but the significance of Jan 6th has been massively overblown and weaponized IMO.
There is no ongoing desire collectively by those on the right to try that again and accordingly that solidifies its genesis as a mob mentality event. (100% of its participants having no idea how they would be perceived or prosecuted for it later.)

FTR, I'm totally messing around. I loathe Trump but if he doesn’t end up in jail or somehow wins in November, I would certainly be disappointed that a majority of this country thinks he would be our best choice and would probably avoid any conversations with any of his supporters, like I do now, but would never move.
We need a counter balance of rational people to offset the MAGA morons.

We left USA a few years ago. But looking like we will have to move back as wars keep popping up all over the world. We are all dual citizen and have zero faith in the current USA bringing citizens back during wars.
