Willies @ JUCO

I don't think letting a guy rejoin the team without excessive punishment is at all comparable your examples.

Okay fair enough. Where do you draw the line? If the guy quits mid season and then wants back on you just let him back on no questions asked. Im asking where do you draw the line as to what is exceptable behavior. I was just saying what if he skips practice? Do you still not give him punishment? What if he punches a teammate? Do you still not give him punishment? What if he stops going to school?/ Do you still not give him punishment.

I mean if you are saying that he shouldn't have to go through excessive punishment for quitting on the team then I am asking what would have to happen for you to give out punishment. I am assuming this is only for guys that are really talented. I don't know that but I am just curious as to where you sit on this whole debacle.

That's so cute.

Were talking about people who have been on the field.

Talking about players who have yet to see the field means nothing at this point.

You are horrible at this. Smith has been on the field in game 1. In the first half even.

You guys are morons. Willies absolutely lit up the spring game going into last season and looked like an explosive playmaker. He made a huge touchdown catch against Ball State to help us win the game and then you never see him again. It's not like our offense was setting the world on fire last year. What I want to know is how does this kid not see the field in the early portion of last season? That is probably what pissed him off causing him to leave. Most Iowa fans were salivating at his POTENTIAL as a playmaker and he barely got a chance to play. It's kind of like putting Leshun Daniels in the game and he scores the first rushing touchdown last year with a great run around the edge which Weisman could have never made but then you never see him again either. Ferentz even admitted in one of his press conferences that he should have played Daniels more. I know he eventually got hurt but that was several weeks later. They should have played Daniels and Willies way more. Weisman and Bullock were not upper echelon Big Ten running backs. What do you have to lose? We have really struggled with the skill positions lately. The bottom line is that Willies deserved to be on the field last year and if he was then maybe he wouldn't have left the program. Vandenberg is a nice story and Hillyer is a decent player but neither one of them compare to Willies. That is the bottom line. Yet another example of the Ferentz union card that makes you scratch your head at times.
That isn't what my conversation is about with RocknRollface.

Do you think Willies is better than Tevaun Smith? He does.

Too early to tell, I predict he will have a more successful career when it's all said and done. Obviously we haven't seen enough of Willies yet to have an educated discussion on this though.
