Yadier Molina is 137 years old and still brings it

Curious is Yadi rebounds defensively this year. It wasn't like he was terrible, but he had a couple stretches where his defense was rather ordinary in comparison to his usual play. Seemed to be more prone to passed balls than usual. Seems to be not as good at blocking pitches as he used to, and his arm seems to be not quite as "fear inducing" as it used to be.

Might have been a case of the oh...100 pitchers StL used last year plus the lack of pre-season work gotten in. But I get the feeling age was the reason. Still viable and valuable, but one of these years age will move in and make the kill.

Puerto Ricans be highly emotional. I hope he kicked that with his left foot, he's supposed to be rehabbing his right knee. he's played in less than half the games this year. I just want him back so he can start 9 more games with Wainwright to break the MLB record...
