Read my posts in this thread - I’ve only talked about this specifically. So you’re obviously moving the goalposts here…as if guys like Tim Waltz have stated they only support emergency use of a male restroom by a female. I’m sure he also stated these girls must a) make sure no boys are in there before entering and b) lock the door that most certainly doesn’t have a lock after you enter for your emergency use.
How is this a major stretch? You seriously never had an emergency and couldn’t get to the correct bathroom in time? For girls, I’m a guy so I don’t pretend to be an expert there, but if nothing else what if the closest girls bathroom is closed or full? The excuse to put tampons in the boys bathroom is because the girls bathroom might be busy and they need to use the boys bathroom in an emergency. You don’t see that as a major stretch? First off how do you not know when you need to use the restroom and wait to long to go. I would especially have to think a female is extra cautious when having her period. Second, what girl is going to want to use the boys bathroom when on her period even if they need to go. Third, stop encouraging stupid excuses. This is why caution hot warnings are needed on hot drinks.
My k-8 building was almost 100 years old when I went there - bathrooms were on alternating floors…sometimes you didn’t have time to head up or down to the correct floor.
How so? Again, I’m not getting into trans-issues here, but it doesn’t seem unreasonable to say that in specific circumstances one might have to use a bathroom usually meant for the other gender. You’re really reaching here.
