We as fans need to realize this is a young team. Our QB is a sophomore, both tackles are Freshmen. One WR is a true freshman. Young players can be good one week and the next play poorly. They generally play better at home.

Stanley got pressured early and often and the result over the course of the game caused turn overs. This young man will only get better. Playing on the road in a hostile crowd didn't help much either. Our WR's get a big fat F, too many dropped passes.

Our D was defending on a short field all day. Have to pin this beat down squarely on the offense. When you run 23 times for 26 yards at one point, your line Is getting whipped. Wiscy stacked the box and mixed blitzes well all day. Playing from deep inside your side of the field doesn't help much either.
Several Vandenberg mistakes gave us poor field position that put more pressure on our offense.

Overall PPP.

All true OP. Not disappointed that the Hawks lost, but concerned that they got dominated. Wisky is really good, and I expect to see them win the B1G, but that was pretty embarrassing for the team - or at least the offense.

This sounds like you are describing Wisconsin. They have 18-22 year old's as well. And like Iowa they had some of their best lineman out.

So then Iowa must have been a veteran team last year? Must have been a veteran team in 2010? 2015 was a pretty young team if I recall. It doesn't matter if a Kirk Ferentz coached team is experienced or not.
