XL,
You hold to a very bizzare form of Christianity. You say that you're non-denominational, which leads me to believe that you have fallen under the spell of some charismatic foolish preacher.
My form is bizarre? You masturbate to another man's wife, a sister in christ, after witnessing her IN church, while you are married, and you brazenly announce that on a message board, and you think you're saved, and MY form of Christianity is bizarre?
And, no, I am under no preacher, let alone a charismatic one.

Yes, I'm sure there are many weeks that go by where you don't sin at all for the entire week. Just like you have eliminated continuous and willful sin from your life. You are "walking in the light.
By the grace of God.

Of course, the advantage of throwing out banalities like "walking in the light" as the key to salvation is that they are totally ambiguous.
Take that up with John the Apostle, through the Spirit that's how he described it.
1 John 1:6-7
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;
7 but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Thus, you can go through life harshly criticizing others -- which appears to be the focal point of your version of faith. You have become an expert at using the Law as a tool for criticizing others, while simulataneously ignoring the Gospel completely.
Are you judging my actions, Loogy? Good for you. But start using righteous judgment.
Just because you say it is my focal point, doesn't make it so. My focal point is the glorification of God. Your blatant and arrogant actions so cause the name of My God to be blasphemed I had to say something.
I may be an expert (says you) at pointing out blatant sin like yours, but that would not be because I ignore the Gospel, but because I love it and adhere to it. You should try it.

And you make ridiculous assertions, such as this notion that there are entire weeks that go by where you have committed no sins.
I thought we were talking about A week. Maybe I did say "weeks," but that is my constant goal.

Your arrogance, sanctimony and ignorance are what turns people off to Christianity, as has been pointed out already on this thread.
And there is no assurance of salvation in your faith. Actually, I think this concept has gone completely over your head. I don't think you've ever heard it before.
I have heard all of this before. That's why it was so easy to refute. It's obvious what I've said is completely foreign to you.
You and NPR say what I do causes people to be turned off to Christianity. That doesn't impress me.
A far more dependable witness is the Scripture on this matter. It says hypocrisy such as yours causes God's named to be blasphemed.
Romans 2:21-24 (NASB)
21 you, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one should not steal, do you steal?
22 You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
23 You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God?
24 For Òthe name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,Ó just as it is written.
There is assurance of salvation in my faith, but it's only for those who stay faithful until death.
What has truly been established is that you are also a willful and premeditated liar to my question. That's also now on record here.
