Just saw the end of the Bowman match, but looks like leg riders are still his kryptonite.

Bowman seemed too relaxed on feet and needed to score. Had multiple cradles locked up and never turned Rutgers kid. Rutgers kid good at clinging with the legs in.
Bowman needs a sense of urgency there. Still can battle back in consi.

Ref in Bowman’s match was terrible.

I have no other way to say this, Bowman wrestled like a moron in that match.

I hate to be hard on the kid because he is one of my favorites but it reminded me of an Alex Meyer match where he got obsessed with working for the reversal and wasted the match away rolling with the guy. That’s playing right into the Rutgers guy’s wheelhouse.

I actually felt like I was flashing back to the Meyer-Gordon Wolf match, so that works for me.
