WOW!!!! How badly beaten down is the liberal cable TV media??????

Well, ok then. Here you go. LOL!!

"Fox News finished the week of Nov. 11-17 with its highest share of the cable news audience among total day in the network’s 28-year history across multiple categories. As Fox News makes history, MSNBC posted its lowest-rated week in over 25 years in key categories as viewers continued to flee the network on the heels of President-elect Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris."

I am sure you are right there with your girlfriend (no worries, most of us would rather not see that photo) watching Hallmark. That is fine if that is your jam, I just think it is funny how you try and deflect by calling the majority of Americans brain damaged, when it is clear you and your friends have been in full melt down mode for the past 2 week. 😂
Msnbc was pure gold election night. Maybe better than 2016.
This year when they were describing harris and her “flawless” campaign and the panel all agreeing it was must see tv.

Post Kansas thoughts (shorter)

Feuerbach and Olsen there ...
There was a 2 on 2 fast break for Kansas last night and the ball handler attacked Stremlow on the left side. Stremlow was ahead of her so could pick her placement...

I spent time looking for it but it wasn't in the highlights / clipped version on Youtube. I know it was in the 2nd half but it must have been edited out. I don't think the full game is on Youtube at least right now.
That's why I posted what I thought UpstreamHawkeye was talking about.

It doesn't seem to match up with Dan's posts on it.
1) This seems like more of a 1 on 2 situation, not 2 on 2.
2) Lucy is not ahead of the Kansas player.
3) This fast break happened in the 1st half, while Dan said or thought it happened in the 2nd half.
4) Players are not the same.

I think Dan may be talking about another fast break and not the Feuerbach and Olsen one in the video I posted.

Harris Gone

This type of stuff is only going to get worse every year.
Absolutely right! This is what the NCAA has turned everything into. It is only going to get worse. Guys are going to start opting out earlier than the 10th game. Some will start opting out after 6 games. College football is not worth watching anymore. But we all know people will continue to watch. This is their life.

Other healthy players quitting?

I wouldn't be so sure. I think you'll see a large dent in attention to it. People won't have anything to "attach" to. I LOVE CFB, but I got better stuff to do on the weekends that if I can't keep track of who is on "my" team, I won't bother. I believe there will be a significant amount of folks who feel the same.
I agree 100% and, in my case, it already is becoming much less appealing. I also find the money grab to be deplorable. I have followed Iowa since 1957, so I am not a fair-weather fan.

Other healthy players quitting?

This would be the equivalent of a college kid quitting their part time job at McDonald’s with no notice and being forced to give all his pay back.
Not necessarily. Structure the payment(s) so they have to complete the season...somehow.

But really, at this point, cut to the chase...sign them with pro style contracts. Quit dinking around, it isn't working. IMO.

Even Debbie fans at 5-5 still give a shit. Says a lot about you. Maybe you need a better team to follow.

Absolutely @MitchLL @MeetTheFerentzes @RagnarLothbrok and others like them live in a vacuum, they aren’t aware how many teams with higher ranked players and higher paid coaches are shitting the bed all around them and have forever and ever.

And here’s the deal I’m actually tired of KF myself. I could care less if he retires, but they’re not gonna be any easier on the next Coach because they honestly think they should win every damn game, and they’ll come on here and pretend like they don’t, but in reality They’ll bitch about the next guy just as much.

It’s their character

There was a 3rd and 8 play at the end of the game last week. The receiver made the catch but was still probably 5 yards shy. Instead of making the hit and forcing the receiver out of bounds short of the sticks, Harris pulled up and let him backpeddle for a first down to essentially end the game. Had to look terrible on film afterwards. After the play he just kind of stood there with a bewildered look and hands on hips. I thought the whole sequence was odd at the time. I wonder now if it was a harbinger of things to come with him.
2:05 4th quarter
basically taps him like touch football and makes a gesture like "oh man"..... He had a chance to hit him or push him out of bounds.
Did neither.
