Holy $hit, Ole Miss after game presser

Speaking of Ole Miss, I've been hearing they are our likely opponent in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa. I hope not. They are ranked in the Top Ten in both Total Offense and Total Defense. Just another year that our meaningless victories prompt the conference to match us up with a SEC team that will blow our doors off.
I'm not sure about that. Ole Miss brought in a lot of portal players. I could see a lot of them, especially the defensive front, sitting out a non-play off game.

Tariffs against Canada Mexico and China.

The top 1% pay less than half the taxes despite having over 95% of all the money. If they don't want to shoulder as much of the tax burden as they do then they need to get more money into the workers so they can pay more as well. Or just spend hundreds of billions buying an election so they can just cut all the taxes for themselves and transfer it to everyone else.
You know envy is one of the 7 deadly sins right?

You just spit out the propaganda and don't even take 2 seconds to check what is real and what isn't. Your brain is full of stuff that is demonstrably untrue.

"How much wealth does the top 1% own?

As of 2023, the top 1% of American households owned 30.0% of net worth, or 30 cents of every dollar. This has risen from 22.8% in 1990 and 28.4% at the start of the 2008 recession, but is lower than a 2021 peak of 30.9%.

The total net worth of the top 1% in 2023 was $43.0 trillion."

I'll wait for your source on your quoted 95% BS.

Injury Updates on Koch (in hospital?) + Traore has a “bad sprain” & should be back hopefully in the next week (Dec 3) or two (Dec 10)

So the bigger question then is why is Payton playing 36 minutes in a game when he has an injured shooting wrist, can't practice, and by his own admission can't do much of anything today? 🙄
Or even more so why would he be chucking up 14 three's....... o_O o_O

Close friend pleading with me to not vaccinate our baby

Yeah, I don’t feel the vaccine is/was beneficial because the polio ‘epidemic’ was a lie, imo.

And the experts changed the definition so polio became acute flaccid myelitis. It never went away but it sure made the polio vaccine seem super effective.

Polio epidimic a lie? Well, wish you could have told that to my great uncle. I’m sure he wished it was a lie. Being a part of rotary and trying to eradicate it was pretty cool.

Also some Amish do have autism. In general though they don’t diagnose too much and only go to doctor in the most severe of cases. Mothers are also much younger. Having children around age 20-21. Age of the mother is the biggest risk factor. So when they are birthing much younger the rates will be much much lower. Add in no diagnosis, misdiagnosis. Do you know how many slow Amish children, or have mental or physical disabilities? It’s sky high because of closed gene pool. I don’t think Amish is the best argument. I could keep going.

Nice seeing Brock Harding stepping it up

Foolish?

Kirkwood CC could probably beat that team tonight.

I have a strong suspicion he’s really gonna struggle once Big Ten games start.
Is that what you think of Utah State too? Yes the season is young and stiff competition is on the horizon. He has always passed exceptionally well and is hitting his shots..........period (over 50% from the 3) You do look foolish.

What are your Thanksgiving travel plans?

I'm staying in town to watch my parent's dog as they go to North Carolina for the holiday.

CSB.

How about you?
Staying home for TG. But I can assure you, if I ever travel for TG again, it will not be by air, and the destination will be a beach community no further west than Gulf Shores and no further east than PCB. A family friend loaned us a condo in destin for TG back in the 80s, and that was a pretty nice little vacation. Too cold to swim, but perfect weather for just hanging out on the beach, golfing, fishing, sailing, etc.

Players Quitting is on Kirk…

North Carolina, a basketball school who understands the economic urgency surrounding CFB, removed Mac Brown, the program’s winningest all time coach, today with time remaining on his contract. In fact, Brown said that he fully expected to return after what looks like a 7-5 finish and another bowl game appearance. That’s the difference. North Carolina isn’t content with 7-5/8-4 seasons and irrelevance on a rapidly-changing national scene. Iowa is irrelevant under KF. You can choose to ignore that all you want, but it is FACT borne out over his tenure: zero national championships, zero playoff appearances, zero conference championships, zero Heismans. He is very happy that Kinnick and this forum are filled with Kent Dorfmans. Unfortunately as Dean Wormer aptly pointed out, that’s no way to go through life.
Lolol. And what conference does UNC play in? Oh, thats right, one thats not relevant. They know the only way their getting in any playoff is to win their 2nd rate conference at basically 11-1 or better. Oh, and they're the school that was okay with covering up the basketball cheating scandal by admitting they let ALL the students at their school cheat, so Roy's boys weren't punished in the biggest academic fraud case in NCAA history. Go Tar Heels....

Politico: This is the new progressive Democrats strategy for warring with Trump

I'm starting to think progressive democrat leaders are just plain bad at strategy period. It seems like a good portion of democrats are actively sabotaging the party from within.
The Dems have a harder problem than Republicans right out of the gate. They are a much bigger tent party.

They have to answer to a much more diverse voting audience.

Republicans are republicans and aren’t going to change. As you can see by the popular vote of the last two Presidential elections.

Throw in Republicans are brainwashed by right wing media, and it’s not surprising to see what happened.

But yes, The Democratic Party has to step up. They are definitely slacking and suck.

Iowa Gov. Reynolds to pitch barring students from having cellphones in classrooms

Then change the “open enrollment” rules..that would be a legislative responsibility…but let the independent districts make their own rules about cell phones, specific curriculum content and stuff like that! Maybe we should have the Governor and Legislature ban tatoos too, because we all know those kids are bad.
So do you think there should be a department of education?

There is not a playoff worthy team in the big 12

Thnx. Made me laugh. FIFY. There's a reason why OUT both left the league and also why Stanford, Berkley and some others thumbed their nose at the thought of joining the B12. No name brands and no academic jugernauts left. KU finally got off it's arse and is actually doing something about it's historically irrelevant FB program b/c they want in with the P2. (They will get in, btw, but primarily b/c of their BB program). Big 12 goin' the way of the Big East. (basketball league)

Ugh, Stanford and Cal weren’t invited and they are currently earning zero TV dollars as members of the ACC.
