If Iowa was in the Big 12….

No, they didn't play a tougher schedule and if you believe that, you're a fool. Nothing I say to a fool will convince them otherwise so enjoy your perceived win.

BTW, grats on getting to your "conference" championship. Who knew, all it would take was every good team leaving for you to end the drought. Maybe you guys will get to play 2021 Oregon in the bowl game after you lose to ASU so that other poster can prove whatever point he/she was trying to make.

I hope you win though. You certainly shouldn't want to play the current iteration of Oregon this year but I'd ABSOLUTELY love to watch that game. Please let that happen. Talk about doubling up the score. Hell, tripling up...
I wouldn't debate strength of top teams in the conference in football comparing Big 12 to SEC or Big 10 this year, not that Iowa state is on the same level with Texas this year. I would say that if your point in bold above is that ISU wasn't competitive with those teams leaving the Big 12, that is a different argument. The last five years ISU won 3 of 5 against Texas, and lost one by 3 and the other by 10. Oklahoma they won 1 of the last 5 and were only "boat raced" in one of those (last year). ISU did play in the Big 12 Conference championship while those two teams were both still in the Big 12, and ISU actually had the best conference record in the regular season that year, but championship is determined by the title game. Equal to them? No. Competitive is more arguable. But this is a fan site so all is arguable.

Nebraska DC and DL coaches leaving for FLA ST

Rhule brought in Phil Snow as a defensive consultant this year. Snow was Rhule's DC at Temple, Baylor and the Panthers.

Maybe White was not happy with this.
This is most likely the reason he was looking in the first place. Boss bringing in his old buddy to look over your shoulder doesn't instill any confidence that you're going to be around for long.

Which 2 teams is the Big 10 looking to add right now and go to a 4 division conference?

to get to 20, the B1G will most likely have to add Stanford and Cal...as they meet the AAU and other metrics

the conference would prefer to add UNC and Virginia...as they meet the AAU and other metrics even better than the previous two...but those schools may not be interested since they view the B1G as not a very good cultural fit.

if the B1G cared more about the level of the school's football program and the recruiting grounds the schools bring, then they would push to add TAMU and Miami (FL)...but they actually don't care that much about those metrics

Iowans - what do you plant in your home gardens?

Over the years I've backed down on the garden a bit, used to grow everything on Whiskey's list along with lots of potatoes. Now it's pretty much tomatoes, green onions, and peppers (bell, jalapeno, and every couple years red chili peppers that I dry and chop to sprinkle in things like chili). Large onions and potatoes I decided it's easier to buy them than try to keep large quantities good in storage.

America's mass deportation of illegals who invaded our Nation.

There is no way the "mass" deportation will be an immediate "mass" deportation. I suspect it will start with those already having deportation orders, or temporarily admitted despite being criminals. My guess is the next group will be those who've already been deported previously, as well as those committing crimes while in the US. It's not going to happen overnight, and Trump will be lucky to simply deport half as many as entered the last 4 years.
We demand an immediate deportation of the illegal infestation that is ruining our country.

I wish I had more room than I do Some in a raised bed, some in the ground

Tomatoes
Green Beans
Cucumbers
Peppers

Herbs
Thyme
Rosemary
Basil
Dill. You'll only need to plant once.
If you do grow mint, grow it in a planter, otherwise you'll never get rid of it

I love the way that corner of the backyard smells.

If you grow from seed, Seed Savers Exchange in Decorah is a good place to order from.

Garlic takes a couple years to establish fwiw, you don't get a production your first year.
Plant it in the fall you'll get a harvest in the summer. You thinking asparagus maybe?

Recruiting

I saw that but no I’m not basing anything I said off of that dude, I don’t know where sealey or henckel get into this lineup, same with Facundo and Nagao.
We could fit Sealy in nicely at 157 next year if the cut not too bad, then 165 next 3 years. I know people bitch about not going to beat PSU with their cast offs, but many will be better than any other recruit or transfer available to us. Unless heckle can cut to 165, he would have to beat out Gabe or Angelo.

What am I hanging up? Are you claiming the Big Ten Academic Alliance adds no value and there is no reason for the Big Ten Cancer Reserach Consortium to exist? Is it your stance those people who put them together are a bunch of dummies because clearly they add no value and don't ever have an effect on the granting of an award? I really would like to hear your opinion as to why these collaborations exist if they are worthless.
That consortium does not net guarantees funding, you act as though being in the big ten is better than the sec. I am telling you research doesn’t give a shit about what conference you belong to. You have no grasp on how funding is achieved, allocated, or utilized.
