What traits, abilities, qualities are you looking for in your quarterback?
It's a legitimate question. Not a gotcha question. I'd be disappointed with some answer like - a leader - that's a non-answer answer. As an OC, he should already specifically know what he's looking for in a QB. If he doesn't then I'd question the hire. But, I'm confident he knows what he wants, so he's capable of answering it.

Follow up, Is that guy on Iowa's roster?
This one has more of a gotcha flavor to it and I doubt he'd give a straight answer to, but an honest answer to the first question will give us some clue.

That might give a small window into what we'll see in the fall.

I think he had a chance to increase the Lions lead to 17 in the 3rd qtr with a FG but the4th down miss really ignited the 49ers who had just cut it to 24-10.

I recently talked to a Penn State alum. He told me the expectation for Franklin remains the same, even with expansion. He must stay ahead of Oregon, USC, and Washington. UCLA is irrelevant to his base.
