In the need for some new winter boots mostly for shoveling, tailgating and football games in Iowa. Had a couple pairs of Merrells the last decade, but also looking at Keens, Hokas, Columbia maybe a few others.
Looking to have these for 5+ years and want comfort, warmth and durability.

What does everyone have and do you like them?

Oregon/Ohio State are obviously pulling talent from around the country, but I do have to give Debbie some props in getting Elijah Pickett. Really hoping the hawks can pull in an OT yet to bolster the line.

I was told by almost every beat writer how important this year's portal was to sending kirk off in style with 1-2 more successful years. Fast forward today and this may have been a bigger disappointment than Phil's defense returning 8 starters and falling flat on their face.

I honestly think it has more to do with scheme and fitting into the "iowa way" than not matching NIL $. Kirk and co would rather have strong personality traits than skill and its showing.

As it sits today this team wins 4-6 games, kirk falls below 60% win percentage making him ineligible for the HOF, and finishes his legacy laying an egg.

And some like Mark Milley and Fauci said they didnt want a pardon.

But Prez Biden does have clear worries that Repubs will go after many on their lists and it will cost those people a lot of money in legal fees plus the harse times.

Did Mark Milley go a crime? Liz Cheney do a crime, I thought she did her job?

Hell Jim Jordan and the other country boy gomer who had the hearings to go after Biden didnt get anything done in 4 years, not one bit of evidence. So that means the Repubs will go after people who didnt do anything.

Bought a house in CR, moving this spring to Iowa after 23 years living in Kansas.

Picked up 4 season tickets for the 2025 season, and am stoked to be able to be in attendance with you all.

Question, is a parking pass worth it? Usually the wife and I park in the commuter lot and take the shuttle in, and that typically works well. We would like to do a little more tailgating, and make some friends when we move up. Thoughts / recommendations?

I use one of these old Currier & Ives ice cream tins that we got from the Schwan's man back in the day every winter for when I make Chex Mix.
