I get “mixing” (e.g. I had Pfizer before, and now get Moderna booster).

But what is “matching”?

(My suspicion is: Lazy thinking, using common phrases without thinking).

I’m guessing the matching means the number of doses, but you do have a point.

I got all three the same day just to be safe and will go back 3 card monty style for my 3 boosters. Mix and match.

So @GOHOX69, dose 1 & 2 Pfizer. If you had the opportunity knowing what you know, would you get Moderna for your booster or stick with Pfizer?

I'd stick with Pfizer. It's not like putting in a new engine in an old car. Your booster, in my opinion, functions better as a consistent antigen. Honestly, the cdc and the fda have gone off the rails with this mix and match approach. Dr. Walensky is as hard to find as Brian Laundrie. Kind of sad to be honest.

I'd be afraid that the microchips might not be compatible.
