There have been multiple Russian apologists on this board. We know Russia has supplied weapons to Iran (and vice versa) and now it appears likely that they are moving even closer together with intelligence sharing that can only hurt Israel/US.
So do those apologists walk back their Russia support or do they start supporting Iran as well? I am anti-both regimes so I’m curious how the affinities will play out,
Just because they can’t see a swarm of drones doesn’t mean they can’t see ballistic missile and incoming fighter aircraft.
If a country launched a drone swarm attack on Washington D.C. we would have a very difficult time even stopping 10% of them.

This is probably true, although if Washington DC was close to enemy territory I am 100% confident we would have the mother of all iron domes deployed.
DC is in a relatively strategic location in that the only way such a drone swarm could happen is via naval ships…and those we can see and eliminate before they become a theat.
you could probably say that about the entire united states. Interestingly, on the drive home last night from dc I was listening to a debate from VMI between Ramaswamy and Bolton on the degree to which the us should have an activist foreign/military policy, which was actually quite good. In the course of the debate, one of the issues that came up briefly (in the context of the border) was the degree to which we will continue to be, in essence, a castle more or less surrounded by a giant moat, or whether the moat will eventually become something of a highway to the 'drawbridges''.

The precision, which is not so precise given the sheer magnitude of the ordnance, is less impressive than the intelligence. Really top-shelf stuff on that front.

DC is riddled with short range anti aircraft systems that would work fine against any drones of a size or range that could do any real damage. Many are actually deployed on the rooftops of government buildings (inside big plain square boxes).

"All passengers traveling to, from, or via Dubai are prohibited from transporting pagers and walkie-talkies in checked or cabin baggage," the airline has announced in a statement on its website. It said this is part of enhanced security measures which will result in the confiscation of any prohibited items by Dubai Police.
That would be a helluva way to go out. Nice quiet flight and catch the dead when eight pagers explode.
Lol our most recent marine ad had an emp disabling drones. Drones won't be the issue against a peer nation. It will be our soldiers ability to operate without modern electronics.
