Interesting take on the BBC webpage....Iran is interested in de-escalating, for the obvious reason that their principal means of deterrence and confrontation aren't particularly effective, but with the unspoken part being that they've concluded they need to accelerate the development of their nuclear deterrent.
While I recognize that striking nuclear facilities is a fraught exercise, maybe it actually does make sense, and sooner rather than later as pressure builds to deescalate.

Iranian military, nuclear, and oil targets make the most sense...
I think for sure they are going after everything related to Nuclear development both energy and possible weapon wise. That is first and foremost along with military targets and missiles
Think they have to de escalate with over the top force. It’s risk reward. If they keep going with this tit for tat it’ll never end. If they go all out Iran might finally cave. Worst case it leads to a big war with the destruction of Iran in the end. Not many good options.

Israel is now in a position that they should just end Iran’s strategic military capabilities. That means their nuclear complex, their ballistic missile capabilities (storage, launch sites, etc.) their military leadership and any political/religious leadership that engages with terrorist groups.
Might as well go all in at this point. If nothing changes with Iran true peace is impossible in the region. So force the change.

Agreed. Might be a tipping point to push the population to revolt against the government of Iran which they despise.
And if they allow "advanced weaponry" in Iran or any proxys hands....they run the risk of Ukraine receiving "advanced weaponry".
I don't think Israel has the capacity to damage Iran's underground nuclear facilities...but the US does.

It is confirmed that Israel has bunker buster type bombs (for that matter they have nuclear weapons not that they should use those).
I don’t know how hardened the Iranian complexes are, but my guess is that Israel has the weapons to deal with it. Have you seen something that says otherwise?
Israel has the weaponry,.. at this point it's just a matter of target selection.
We tend to view Iran as a backwards country and in many ways it is, however, this will not be a cake walk. Iran has some very formidable air defenses (Russian and otherwise) and the topography is treacherous. My fear is we get dragged into doing Bibi’s dirty work and lose some pilots in the process.

Why should I believe one of the leaders of a country that actively supports a terror organization like Hezbollah? He has a vested interest to make Israel the bad guy.

I recall reading around ten years ago that Israeli bunker busters weren’t able to destroy their nuclear facilities. The Israeli technology must have evolved. I’m not a Bibi fan, but he’d be doing the world a favor if he can take those things out.
They have to by now have the remaining members so psychologically damaged they may collapse.
I think there is zero chance we fly planes over Iran.
We've spent the last decade really piling into stand off weapons (because of air defenses).
0.0% chance the Democrats will risk an American paraded on Iranian TV right before the election.
At some point going to be a lot of US Tomahawks heading their direction.
I would also expect the Iranian radars might be turned off or they risk destruction by radar homing missles.

Thanks! Interesting as I figured they had pretty much a full range from basic mortars up to ICBM nuclear weapons.

This might be the time Israel whips out the ol’ Trojan Goat and destroys Iran’s underground facilities from the inside out!
Apparently when Israel took out Hezbollah's leadership they were in a hardened bunker.
Israel hit it with multiple strikes in succession until they penetrated the bunker.
