Stanzi was the best Iowa QB, ever, at changing the proverbial page after playing poorly.
There was a breeze out of the north that day that held a few of Stanzi’s throws up. Iowa eventually figured it out and the longer pass plays came going towards the S end zone.
But this video didn’t even show the best play of the game by one Tyler “MF’ing” Sash. Sitting in the north end zone I couldn’t see anything that happened except Sash coming up the IU sideline and nobody stopping the play.

Chuckling. But i have medical condition.
When Indiana was killing us in the 4th quarter I got into an argument with my g/f who is now my wife. She gave me the condescending “it’s just a game” crap. When we came back and won we met friends at the bar and had an amazing night. Thanks, Hawks. I never doubted you. You saved my day.
Favorite game that year was at MSU. That rivaled the Capital One Bowl for me. Plus it was the hardest hitting college football game I have ever seen.

One week later my now EX girlfriend and I were just yards away from where Corey Wootten knocked Stanzi out of the game resulting in the loss to Northwestern. Our night spiraled out of control from there. We never saw each other again after that night except for when her dad dropped off my Herky slippers and my Run DMC tee shirt and i saw her sitting in the car. Thanks, Hawks.
