I'll give you this - you are one deep embedded tick on the butt of leftist propoganda.

It's an objective fact that Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election. It's indisputable. That isn't propaganda, that's facts. You calling a fact propaganda shows how deeply brainwashed you are.

Can not be legally fired for illegal reasons in any state, at will or not. You said originally one in the private sector can be fired for any reason at any time. That was inaccurate. Sorry you missed my point.
I never said anything of the sort. Don't assign false claims to me, please.

You act like the Democrat party has never questioned the results of a presidential election. Fact - it has in every presidential election it has lost since 2000. You can use any terminology you want what to call it.

Again false equivalency. There's a massive difference between questioning the results and outright taking actionable steps to overturn the election. Trump took a multitude of steps to attempt to overturn the election.

The joint chiefs of staff had never before in history had to explicitly state that they won't participate in a coup and that they will uphold the constitution and our democracy.

You thinking there is anything close to an equivalency shows how deeply brainwashed and delusional you are.

No other president in history has interfered with the peaceful transfer of power. Every president since 2000 except for Trump, conceded to their opponent shortly following the election and recount process.

I don't believe there has ever been an avatar that is more accurate than yours. You nailed it!

Ad nauseum is the fact that the MAGA cultists continue to defend Trump.

The objective, indisputable fact is that Trump is the frontrunner of the GQP by an extremely large margin. It is the party of Trump. You continue to try to say "not all of the GQP are like that." Sure, but 90% of them are MAGA trump supporters. The house vote yesterday shows that as does the public statements made by GQP politicians regarding Trump. I had asked you awhile ago to list a single Republican politician who has (and continues to) explicitly condemned Trump, and you couldn't name one.

Even the ones who are supposedly anti trump, still call the indictments witch-hunts and claim the DOJ is weaponized or politicized.

Radicalized is 200 house representatives voting to make Jim Jordan the speaker when he very explicitly tried to over turn the election.
Lol, all that gibberish and not once did you answer what I asked, nor were you remotely accurate with your 90% figure you grabbed out of nowhere.

Also, I VERY SPECIFICALLY stated why nearly all of the GOP aren't openly condemning Trump. It wouldn't be ANY different if they were all from the BLUE SIDE instead of the RED. It is the SAME partisan politics that happens on both sides. In fact, Democrats are much better at it. They stick together much better than their GOP counterparts.

Sadly, Trump has such a HUGE voter lead in the polls. What is worse, it really doesn't make sense to me, to the point were I almost wonder if the polls are being intentionally manipulated to keep him there, just to keep the GOP in chaos mode...

What I often find ammusing is the level of "proof" that must be shown. Depending on your point of view, you seem to need a notorized confession or bank statment for guilt to be considered. Otherwise, Morning Joe is the voice of absolutism.
No. Just the texts that show what was stated. The emails were public. Many of us read them and did not see anything showing that those 2 fbi agents did anything inappropriate. Stupid yes! Illegal no.

No, just need verified texts in the context sent. Not looking for paraphrased 3rd hand hearsay.

Didn't ask for proof. Only asked for evidence.
Yet, you are OK to indict and convict Trump off 1 tweet saying "Big Protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild." Meanwhile you 100% ignore posts that ask the crowd to stay peaceful....

Interesting how one is so acceptable, while the other is not...

House vote yesterday was 200 for Jordan (MAGA ardent trump defender who tried to overturn the election and calls the indictments a witch hunt) / 220 Republican votes. That's 90%.

Of course, you now blame poll manipulation to make the GQP look bad lmfao.

Just look at this forum alone. Full of ardent MAGA trump supporters, yet @MSU158 can't believe Trump would still have that support. Lack of awareness of the situation. Trump is by far the front runner in the GQP. Not even close. The extent of the cult can't be understated.

Nope, I don't blame it so much as I am so surprised that Trump has such a lead, that it makes me honestly question it. I just can't believe with so much going on that he still has that much support. I can't believe that many people think he can actually win after what happened 4 years ago, along with all the HUGE obstacles that are now right in front of him...

Not going to rehash that same debate we went back and forth on, but please give me that "concrete, irrefutable evidence" I kept asking for that NONE of you presented. You tell me what proof there is that any truly impartial person would just say, "Yep, he is guilty as hell!".......I will wait......

Mind you, I wanted him convicted, even though I don't see the evidence. But, now that it looks like he will almost certainly be able to run from INSIDE A PRISON, I don't know what to think. The fact that he most likely wouldn't be determined ineligible even then truly scares me.

Eugene Debs got a million votes from prison as the Socialist Party candidate in 1920.

I think we can all agree a Trump from prison campaign would be the funniest campaign of all time lol

Let's see, he asked Mike Pence to reject the electoral votes - a violation of the constitution.

He called a rally and incited them to march to the capitol and "fight like hell or they won't have a country anymore" after many months of extreme propaganda telling them the election is being stolen and the country is going to be lost if they don't fight. His attorney Rudy, told that same crowd that we need trial by combat.

He admonished Mike Pence for not rejecting the electoral votes and the crowd that he incited was explicitly chanting to hang Mike Pence.

He called the GA secretary of state and asked them quite explicitly to find just enough votes for him to win which would by definition overturn the results in that state and overturn the will of the people.

He still hasn't conceded and still continues to claim the election was stolen despite not being able to present any evidence or win any court cases.

The GQP had slates of fake electors in place in several states as part of the scheme that his attorneys had helped draft on how to overturn the election results. These people are also now under indictments.

He called for the execution of a U.S. general. He's committed stochastic terrorism and has incited his radical followers to shoot at FBI officers after spending months claiming the FBI is deep state and corrupt.

This is just pertaining to the election and doesn't even touch on his sexual assault indictments or his business fraud or him showing top secret documents to people without clearances and refusing to return those documents.

This is far from a comprehensive list. His list of crimes and the evidence for those crimes is overwhelming. He will be tried, convicted, and imprisoned. He knows that the only way he gets out of this mess is winning 2024 and pardoning himself.

If you don't think there is extremely powerful evidence against Trump, you aren't paying attention or you're listening to too much right wing propaganda.

I know........I have been reading legal opinions on this situation for a while now. I am surprised, but I am starting to see a consensus from most of even the harder left leaning legal minds, that "Federally" he almost certainly can't be stopped. Now, some states may be able to try to keep him off the ballot, but even that has major questions about whether it would be legal to do so.

§2383. Rebellion or insurrection
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

This clause of the constitution is a very strong argument for Trump being ineligible from running.

Does the GQP claiming the Jan 6 individuals charged and convicted of insurrection are wrongfully charges and saying they should be pardoned count as "giving aid and comfort"? Seems pretty clear.

but what if you just really really think you're right and you've spent a lifetime avoiding consequences for all the wild shit you routinely say?

you can't start holding him accountable now, after all these years...that would be unfair

Please - you are the one who started the name calling and as you say, it is very telling. You call people delusional and cultists simply because you don't agree with them, or them with you. You say they only get their news from FOX. Yet you spew the talking points heard daily on CNN and MSNBC. I'll argue facts with you all day long, but it really does no good because you don't beleive them when they go against your tainted views. Of course, they are wrong then.

You somehow say our Democracy is threatened because someone questioned an election and used a possible method given to him through an opinion of an attorney. How earth shattering that something was questioned and that an attorney had an opinion on the Constitution. You take every scenario to its most extreme end point. I guess demanding recounts don't qualify for you as questioning an election? When greatly expanded mail in voting was used, I think there was a right to consider the fact that some of it may have been done just a bit unethical. There is a reason why Biden's voters overwhelmingly used absentee methods versus Trump's. Again - fact.

You say a military leader was threatened with execution. Well, that has historically been the end result of treason. Which is what was actually said, by the way. Creative liberal journalists seemed to leave that part of it out. Which again in the old days, secretly communicating with a potentially hostile foreign government was wait for it -treason! Seems to me that should have qualified as an insurrection and overthowing of democracy. But those terms weren't in vogue yet.

No. Just the texts that show what was stated. The emails were public. Many of us read them and did not see anything showing that those 2 fbi agents did anything inappropriate. Stupid yes! Illegal no.
So I guess it is no harm no foul if you do something stupid or have an opinion different than others now? Regardless of the intent, right?

Curious why you left out - "peacefully" in his call to protest? It is easily fact checked and even sometimes used when the media outlet allows you to hear the entire speech.

Just ask yourself, if Biden has done what Trump did in response to the 2020 election, would you believe Biden should go to jail? I would.
Honest and truthfully, I just don't see the evidence. Remember, I say this knowing I would be truly happy if he was convicted and it took him out of the race.

Case1- The Florida one is a joke. Both guys were found with classified documents.

Case 2 and 3- Washington and Georgia. Everything is based on twisting very vague wording into not only a conspiracy, but a seditious and violent coup. I just don't see anything presented that clearly state he acted illegally and/or had the power/control and direct communication to order/force/coerce the masses, let alone Pence or the Georgia Governor and SOS. Mind you, most of the arguments are going to be trying to prove what someone believed to make their case. I just don't see how in the literal f**k you can do that in ANY case, let alone this one.

Case 4-New York. Thhis is by FAR the most jumbled, incoherent mess to even begin to sift through. Even the accountants that were directly involved are having a complete mess of a time giving testimony at the Civil Trial. I can't imagine what it will begin to be like in Criminal Court.

Exactly who in the GOP is saying this and exactly which convicts are being referenced?

As far as 2383. goes, I am telling you to go ahead and google legal interviews about that exact topic. There is a strong argument that the way 2383. is written and the way any of the charges are worded, even if he were convicted, it would not clearly kick 2383. into affect....

If you state something as fact, is it not then reasonable to ask for supporting data?

I can say every person you know supports your belief that the sky is yellow with pink polka dots. Would you just accept that or ask who agrees with you?

You claiming that election interference (delay, disrupt, deplete) isn't a primary intent shows just how naive you are being. Each and every one of the indictments is politically motivated. Just look at who funded the DA's - just look at the make-up (party affiliation) of the constituencies. Common denominators if you choose to see them.

I'll repeat the extent of the trump cult can't be understated.
To be crystal clear, I never denied there was/is a cult following. I am well aware there is one. My issue is with how much lumping and widespread assumptions you make. Many conservatives have the exact same beliefs they had before Trump and will after. Many Republicans still hold their same beliefs as well. Trump is a fad that energized a certain section of the population. That fad will lessen and almost certainly go away soon after Trump is gone...

i'm not sure who the exact analog is for me in this situation, but if the undisputed leader was on record saying "a large portion of them (every person I know) believed the sky was yellow with pink polka dots, I wouldn't wonder why someone would dare something like that
