The truth is there are rules about going after a sitting President. Nixon is the only other one that had legit proceeding before Trump and he basically admitted guilt and stepped down from office.

For all the bad you can say about Trump, once he won he backed off Hillary completely. It wasn't that they kept looking and gave up. They basically stopped altogether. It just wasn't something that had really every been done before.

Please tell me what major, long term investigations were done on Democrat Presidents after they left office?

Prosecutors use this tactic a lot. Getting hit with a RICO case can be scary and includes a lot of prison time. In a RICO case if one co-defendant is found guilty of something, then the odds of you being found guilty are very likely. Whether you had anything thing to do with it or not. She's an attorney and probably knows this as well. Take 6 months' probation, a couple small fines and move on. Fight it and possibly spend the rest of your life in prison because of someone else's faults. White collar crimes are often done this way.

We all know the truth now that everyone that has ever taken a plea deal in the history of plea deals was completely guilty and took the deal only because they are guilty and didn't do it because they would just get a slap on the wrist. Just like when a person gets arrested and doesn't speak without an attorney present then they must be guilty too. Because that's the way the laws work.

Don't assume the lack of convictions had or has anything to do with a lack of guilt. That seems to be a correlation that is assumed with Trump , but not the before mentioned. Maybe take a look at who held the positions of authority to act on these actions.

And the Dems will surely squander that possibility by offering up JB or another equally insipid candidate deemed centrist enough to please the Republican lites, now considered democrats due to the Republicans moving so far to the right that the center appears to be something Ronny Raygun would approve of back in the day.
