He could be a successful coach but he has multiple issues to overcome. The biggest is that he tries to do just about everything and doesn’t delegate near enough. He is just overwhelmed and can’t dig out of this with his third tier supporting cast.

You’re probably right. Unfortunately, and unless we have some seriously good luck and pour a fortune into a fleet of high quality assistants and big dollar NIL, we are looking at being Nebraska for the next 20 or 25 years.

Saw that earlier this morning, very sad when someone dies so young. IIRC he was the extremely strong guy who deadlifted massive amounts of weight like it was an empty bar.
Yes, that was him. I saw an article about him when I was looking for more information about why happen (again, 42 years?). It talked about him having all the heavy lift school records and ultimately was what drove him into finding his own way after football into supplement sales and then a media company to help get weight lifting competition exposure. Matt The Monster or something similar.
