I wonder if it was more of the refs saying we have to get her out of here before she injures someone. She was way too unathletic to try to make some of those blocks she was attempting which just ended up with her clubbing our players in the head.

I think we legitimately have a team that can get the Final 4 this year. An Elite 8 would totally be an acceptable outcome for me. We're playing to win right now. I have trepidation because I'm an Iowa fan and used to being severely let down but damn, this team is playing so good right now that it's really hard to not envision us in the conversation for a Final 4 or beyond.

Yep. I tell my dad all the time that I wish I had followed thru with that turncoat moment when I was around 12 or so and stuck with it. It was after we were up by 9 against Duke but lost in the last minute or something. Wojo was their PG. Newton or Newsome was the C. They sucked that year but it was still Duke. I'd had enough disappointments even that young apparently. He didn't talk to me for a few weeks outside of calling me a traitor until I rescinded and went back to being an Iowa fan again. 29 years later, he's now telling me that Iowa is cursed and he should've let me stay away from Iowa.

Too late now, I'm in it for the long haul but damn, it's hard sometimes. Spencer losing is a bummer man. A real f-ing bummer.
