If you have any democratic or independent leaning at all there is no way in hell a person jumps to Trump.
He told you. "Some poll". Totally legit.
There will be independents that jump off the dem train, just like they jumped off the rep train after "W". Who knows how many that will be.

Dems are not perfect. They provided numbers enough to allow Reagan to get elected, too. GOPers cannot win a general election without a sizeable cross-over vote......or a low voter turn-out.
The survey by Washington-based Mercury Analytics is a combination online questionnaire and "dial-test" of Trump's first big campaign ad among 916 self-proclaimed "likely voters" (this video shows the ad and the dial test results). It took place primarily Wednesday and Thursday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percent.

Donald Trump has some easy targets to aim at.
1. A leaderless President with no strategy
2. A Congress that is full of career politicians
who only want to get re-elected.

Why are so many people afraid of Trump. I love it and think he's smarter than any other talking head on the platform and doesn't need to be PC about anything. There are problems. America is broke and going broke paying for illegals and everything else. He will bring issues to the table that the public doesn't even know about.
For all his intelligence and bravado he lacks the ability to work in a meaningful manner with other nations. None of his plans are realistic. Whether the bigots believe this or not, but not all Muslims are evil and anti-American. Not all those of Hispanic origin are illegal immigrants.

Trump is a moron. He and his supporters don't understand why it's a bad idea to have someone who just shoots from the hip as the leader of the most powerful nation of the world.

Not to mention that rarely does Trump speak the truth. If Hillary or Bernie lies, you have to prove it. Not just your conjecture.

About the only time I ever agreed with Dick Cheney was when he said the deficit really doesn't matter. It's not quite the same as your Master Card bill.
well, yeah, deficit doesn't matter unless you are in debt out your eyeballs and can barely even cover the minimum payment or the interest, which is where we are at as a country, then the deficit starts to matter, we are now seeing there was no surplus under bill Clinton, dick cheney and Obama and bush and Clinton all put us deep in debt
To be honest, other nations are probably a little nervous because he'll negotiate from a position of strength, which means less for them. I wouldn't expect Trump to send someone like Caroline Kennedy to broker a trade deal with a country like Japan.
I think the problem with such a challenge is that someone would have to confirm that you're capable of counting to 20 yourself.
Why is he so successful? You bring up 4 bankruptcies based on thousands of transactions. Have you ever owned a business or sucked on a w-2 your whole life? Business is challenging but don't think he got where he is based on luck. He has a tremendous work ethic even and as you can see passed it on to his children. Other countries don't like it because he will bring up points that need negotiated. Does South Korea pay us enough to keep NK in check? He brings up so many items that no other politician does.
So why again are you afraid of him? Because he wants what is best for this country.
Other nations just simply won't deal with Trump. I have no problem acknowledging his intelligence, he simply lacks the tact necessary to conduct international negotiations. Honestly, I think Cruz and Rubio would be more palatable on the international stage.
You don't understand, they can't ignore him because they can't ignore the U.S. We are the world's currency. We are the number one consumer on the planet. We have all the power if we want to negotiate from a position of strength.
What I see are lots of delays in international negotiations. I also don't see him being real capable of handling domestic issues.
