2023 WR Kyler Kasper, son of Kevin. Unofficially Visited June 7, 2021. Invited to 2023 All-American Bowl

I listened to the podcast and Kyler asked his dad if they could come back for the Penn State game unless I mis hearsd so that's a good sign.

what sucks is there is a lot of speculation that Iowa/PSU will be FOX's noon game

Iowa's next 2 games, vs Colorado State & at Maryland, are on FS1; Maryland has a 7pm CT kick off

HawkeyeSports.com says the PSU game will be either on Fox or FS1

Surely Iowa/PSU will be a night game....right?

Yeah. It will be tough if it's any earlier than 230 kick for them to get there. I just don't see any way that games on FS1 if both take care of business. Sure would be nice if they can make it back some how.

It would be a shame if Iowa vs. Penn State weren't a night game. Hopefully both team keep winning.

Night games at Kinnick are just so much more exciting than day games (which can be said about most places, yes).

you would think they would put #6 vs #5 in Prime Time, Saturday night

And TV executives know how special night games are at Kinnick

Ratings would be through the roof

Other games that day of note with Times & TV Still to be Announced:

#1 Bama at
#7 A & M

#2 Georgia at
#23 Auburn

#4 Oklahoma vs
Texas

I hope the kid makes his own decision. Of course we would all love to see him in a Hawkeye uniform as would his father, but in the end, he has to make his own choice. And we can’t fault him if he doesn’t choose Iowa. Regardless of his choice, he’s the son of a great Hawkeye and I’ll be cheering for him. Besides, the transfer portal is still a thing.

in the Kevin Kasper / Hawkeye Report podcast, Kevin made it clear that it will be Kyler making the decision

According to Kevin, 6’5 1/2”
If he's class of '23 we may be talking tight end. He'll likely be over 6'6" and looking at his Dad, the weight room is no stranger to the Kasper household. He's listed at 195 now, but 230 wouldn't be hard to reach in two years for a young man with that frame. What a beast with skillz.

And yeah, mama's pretty cute

What's awesome about this is Kevin said in a podcast that for them to make this game from Arizona it really needed to be a night game. The 3 pm start was better than 11 am but it still made it difficult to get to Iowa City on time. As you can see above, they are making it nonetheless.

Now, lets win the game.
