We're 5-0 against the toughest B10 schedule according to KenPom, Indiana is 5-0 against the weakest B10 schedule.

Yep. Not just 5-0, but 5-0 vs Michigan State, Purdue, Michigan State, etc. Last time 5-0 in conference...Andre Woolridge.

If you combine football with basketball Iowa has won almost 20 straight big ten regular season games, if you include wrestling it's much more....damn it's great to be a Hawkeyes!

Wow that's impressive! Funny thing is in that time o have heard that Barta, KF, Fran, Fran's assistants, KF's assistants, and the equipment mangers should be fired....just goes to show how little most really know...go Hawks!

That a dog fight and we really showed some heart coming bank time and after time.

Exactly what we needed to keep motivating thus team.

five and zero
Best game of the year today for the Hawks. Way up, then down, then up, then down and they stayed the course and buried the hatchet at the end. Great effort against a darn good Michigan team, at least today they were darn good. Today they finished.

We haven't lost since February 15th, 2014. That is kicka$$

And a significant portion was with mostly reserves. Fran stuck with them after the timeout, switching out starters for a breather. Not only did they hold the Wolves, but dropped the hammer. Love seeing that from our future starters!

Its good to see our young guys getting some significant PT and not panicking but showing some heart and staying the course. Also we move the ball around pretty well. I love the Fran basketball player prototype: tall, lanky, long, multiple skills, can defend multiple positions like Whitey/Uthoff/Uhl/Baer/Jok. I'm drooling at the thought of having athletic bigs like Cook and Kreiner. Not too sure about Pemsl, hopefully he's getting back to his pre surgery form.

I am not a BB coach...but I have wondered how similar Fran's system and the type of player he loves to recruit...are similar or dissimilar to the Tom Davis teams of yore? Comments?

Seems that TD wasn't able to get enough of his types of players to come to Iowa...so had to "dumb down" his system a bit to fit what he had in the cupboard.

I am looking forward to watching Fran coach his kids at Iowa...that should be a treat.

IMO Dr Tom took too many scrubs like Helmers, Webb, Bullet, Ramos, etc. Never understood that.
