A J Ferrari public statement

Ever drive well in excess of 100mph while passing three cars on a two lane road going uphill with a car coming straight at you, with a passenger in your vehicle, then colliding with said oncoming vehicle?
And then roll over down a hill and have your car burst into flames and need an innocent bystander to pull you out of your burning car to save your life? Yeah, that was at least once a month in my youth. LMAO, the lengths some sycophants will go to justify this clown show.

Again, the act itself was a mixture of stupidity, inexperience and young testosterone. It wasn’t some pre-meditated criminal act. If it was, he would be in jail.

I am not excusing the act. I am simply pointing out there are tons of holier than though types on here blasting from an anonymous platform. Everyone can exude self righteousness behind a screen, but I am still 100% confident that your worst mistake on a road is just as dumb or worse. The simple thing is many of us were simply lucky enough that another car or pedestrian didn’t happen to be right in the wrong place at the exact time when we did it.

You are an amazingly inept reader if you call me a Ferrari sycophant. I have said I actually believe he has an IQ so low that the Military would reject him. I am just simply saying that what he did while driving is being seriously overblown by many on here essentially classifying it as criminal, whereas I am classifying it as someone really dumb combined with way to much testosterone and inexperience.

Again, if you judged everyone based on their worst mistakes while driving, and held them to the same standard you are holding Ferrari to, everyone would be in jail…

You're being both stupid and obtuse at the same time, but unfortunately you're too stubborn to realize how stupid you're being.

Well, AJ has had every chance to redeem himself, but he can't or won't.

The upside is that he really DOES belong in the WWE as the perfect heel. He was made for the WWE, and that's not intended as a compliment, just an observation.

A week from classes and still nobody knows what he’s doing. Trying to find the highest bidder? Well stock pry went down after the meltdown a few weeks ago. Committ or move on already, the attention seeker routine is getting old. real good wrestler but real annoying person. I’ve been all for him to help the team but it’s just dragging on, and the trolls here are endless since the mods are worthless.

If he was 4 inches taller and 60 pounds heavier, he would already be there, and be rising fast as a heel. I thinks his potential there is better than Stevsons. He actually would have been better in WWE his freshman year. Bottom line is there are those of us willing to look at the entire situation last weekend, including the role the Iowa wrestlers and fans played in that match, and give him a much longer test run, and those very vocal never Ferrari boys fans, who don’t want them even if we have a big slide. Neither one of these groups are changing their mind, so we just need to wait and see what plays out. Before SS, I thought it was 90% he’s committing. Now, maybe 50%. I would imagine it will take a big offer to pull him away from his brothers. Would love to know if Brands has cooled on him, and that’s why he’s shopping himself around?

I hope tnt has pulled away and let him go shop himself around after what he did, only to show him that his options are pretty limited and even more so now. To walk away from wrestling with your brothers for some money would be pretty low.

Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes. Very confusing. I think he’s been a lost individual since college and wrestling was taken away from him.

Do people really believe Iowa fans were disrespectful to Mr. Ferrari? They weren’t booing his wrestling, only booed after flipping off Glazier right before the punch. Iowa fans deserve more credit than they are getting in my opinion after reading all these comments.

I think TnT should try a different approach. Make AJ Ferrari team captain and give him a leadership role and let him have the responsibility of molding his team members. Seems AJ is just needing someone to believe in him.

No way he would be rising up that quickly he would come in as a run of the mill guy for awhile. Maybe turn face. The heel controls the entire match and he would be years away from that responsibility

Mods are worthless, how hard is it to see and get rid of the trolls. It’s not like they make it difficult to be known.
This board hasn’t been moderated for at least a decade. Kakert and Zierath did nothing and it hasn’t improved. Has been a dumpster fire since about 2010 and whoever is in charge now is just as worthless as Kakert and Zierath were. No chance it gets any better unless someone worth a damn takes over, which seems highly unlikely at this point. Folks might as well get used to it.

Not that I'm volunteering, but how does one get to be a mod?

Brad has indicated The Swarm is not involved at all with AJF. His Instagram post was a plea to another school to step up, implying Iowa made a NIL offer of a car that doesn’t exist. I doubt any offer comes for his services.

So if he doesn’t come, or we tell him we’re not interested anymore, who is going to be our 197 in the near future?? We have no one in the room, and are in on no top recruits that could be potential finalists or even high AA. This weight will be a hole for some time

I may be stating the obvious, but I suspect that very few of us are interested in hearing people's opinions of AJ over and over and over. You think he's a DB? Got it. You trust TNT to help him grow up? Great.

Either way, once you've given your opinion, please stop posting so those of us seeking updates don't have to wade through the nine circles of hell every time we log in.

The Swarm is not involved in wrestling at all.

The HWC is the wrestling collective and they are very clearly all in on AJ.

He’ll never make it in WWE either unless he grows up. It’s show business. It requires discipline. He lacks it. It requires working and cooperating with others. That seems to be tough for him. It requires learning. So far he doesn’t show that ability.

It’s also a corporation. His sexual assault allegations will likely get him “cancelled” before he can debut. That’s one of Gable Steveson’s issues. There was a social media backlash against him due to his past. It’s not the 80s or 90s anymore, where wrestlers could be drug and alcohol fueled carnies and keep a job. You have to survive in a corporate atmosphere and excel at the job. There’s thousands of people fighting for your spot.

I’m no expert on this incident but I do not believe rape was ever alleged, including the statutory kind. All of those involved were disciplined, including the female. I’m open to being corrected on this.
Exactly. It was school conduct not criminal.

I take it that this is the week the honorable distinguished AJ announces to the wrestling community what he has decided and what he is going to do.
