Me too.

I guess I always assumed these D1 athletes who go on Mission are staying in a nice place, going to the gym, and even training the whole time. His Mission was hardcore.

In military terms, he deployed.

So, does that mean he gets to redshirt next year, 2016-17, and would still have two full years after Stoll graduates? In other words, he doesn't lose a redshirt year by taking the three years off between his high school graduation and when he enrolls at Iowa?

You are correct. He doesn't enroll until the fall of 2016, giving him 5 years from that point (assuming he redshirts).

Love ur site. I look at it often. Not sure why this bothers me but why is Ross lembeck, Lance Evans, and Matthew Hurford on Iowa's breakdown still?

Good question. Ross Lembeck can probably be removed. He's officially off the team, right? I haven't heard anything on Lance Evans, is he gone too? Matthew Hurford has wrestled some matches this year, and I believe for Iowa. Or is my data wrong???

I don't believe lembeck is on the team. Evans transfer out last year to grandview I believe and I've never heard of Matthew Hurford for Iowa.

Evans transferred to Wartburg midway through the year last season.

Hurford wrestled for Ellsworth and last season he was the #1 ranked JUCO 184 before he was stuck in the finals by a wrestler from Iowa Central. Hurford is now up at 197 for Ellsworth.

Just introduced myself to Aaron after Brooks match as he was sitting three seats from me. Asked him about his workout in Brazil and he told me push ups and pull ups for strength and not much weights cause there wasn't to much to pick from. Told me a lot of soccer and even more Jujitsu to stay in shape. Grey shirt he said starting out and can't wait to get started and really happy to be here.
