A player or a team goes off…

It’s time to connect the dots to the common dominator. It’s not woe is us, it’s woe is Fran and his lack of a clue on team defense. Or maybe we just don’t have players to stay in front or keep up on defense. No clue. But it’s not bad luck time after time after time.

If we don't make the tournament this year, I think it's time to cut ties.

He's done a tremendous job of getting us out of the Lickliter hole. He's brought us some national player of the year candidates. He's brought players in to the NBA when we had nothing. Won a Big Ten Tournament title, that was fun. Got us back to the NCAA tournament multiple times.

Fran's style, overall, has not worked. We can't outscore players and teams. We don't have those guys. Add in that this team cannot defend whatsoever and can't shoot on the road you have a losing product. This game was not on the refs at all. This is about lack of adjustments and not having the right guys.

Add in these constant pissing matches with the refs and that's what others classify our program as.

I try not to take this lightly as I don't like it when someone loses their job but this is a big time industry. Sometimes both parties just need a change is scenery. I think that's what is needed here.

Who will coach the Hawks? No idea. Nobody on staff though. We need a totally fresh start.
