An “old fashioned Rose Bowl game” possible?

If form is followed, could Michigan meet Washington in the Rose Bowl on NYD? If #2 plays #3, it’s a possibility. If this happens, can Bo Schembechler go against Don James just one more time? (If so....bet on Don James!)
They have played several Rose Bowls before and have been quite competitive games.

It would be fitting...in the last game a PAC12 might ever play in..they would play THE “bowl game” against on old inter-conference rival, like Michigan.
Next season, these two will be intra-Conference rivals, meeting in home/home games.
Possibilities for it to happen.

The "Old Fashioned Rose Bowl" is dead and it isn't coming back. Even if a Pac 12 team is playing a Big Ten team, it's still a semifinal.
