It's hilarious how some of them are accusing Clark of stat-padding against the Mercury the other day. She already had 20 points and 13 assists (the 4th time in her last 7 games with 13 assists). With about 14 seconds left in the game and about 10 seconds left on the shot clock, Clark passed the ball to Aliyah Boston, who missed a mid-range jumper that would have given Clark her 14th assist.
Apparently that was stat-padding, according to Clark haters who accused her of trying to break the franchise record for assists in a single game, which she already holds four times. It's not like they ran a pick-and-roll. It was a simple pass to an open teammate as the shot clock was winding down. I guess they think she should have let the shot clock expire and take a turnover so they can slam her for that.
