Toms' talk of explosiveness and cutting most likely means it is an ACL. I torn an ACL. If it's an ACL he will be greatly limited. And with some people they can barely do anything. It depends on the individual. Very few people have the tenacity of a Dan Gable who can tear such and then perform in a couple weeks. But if it's his left ACL any sort of fast push off that goes off to the right, or is trying to stop from being pushed back to the left means the knee could go out of joint.
I went years before getting mine fixed. It went out at those times I described. Fortunately for me I never did have meniscus damage.
Lol that I said it's a clear sign. I said it is most likely, that is, I believe that has the greatest odds of what was damaged.Lol at the explosiveness and cutting comment being a clear sign that points to ACL damage. Not saying that he doesn't have that but it could easily be less severe and to the MCL.
That is like saying a guy with .185 BAC was clearly drinking Busch Light. He could have just as likely been drinking Jagermeister.
The issue is that they wouldn't be worth any points at the NCAAs. Why people think one can be years away from the sport, walk in a D1 room and be a factor at NCAAs, I do not know.
I disagree. It depends on the injury, and if there can be no further damage then go for it. Similar to M* a few years back.If Stoll is significantly injured, then he should not wrestle. Period.

Not the same scenario...that was Ryan's last/senior year...he had no choice to go injury or not, didn't matter.....Stoll has three years left, don't run the risk of a long term nagging injury.
This! Its not like hes done this year, but if he does wrestle and shouldn't he may be done this year if some freak thing occurs. Not the same scenario...that was Ryan's last/senior year...he had no choice to go injury or not, didn't matter.....Stoll has three years left, don't run the risk of a long term nagging injury.
I had a player playing on torn meniscus all season long against our advice last fall - but it was his decision to continue playing. He had a surgery after the season in December and is already doing light workouts after his rehab. It all depends on a type of injury and athlete's pain tolerance and willingness to go through it...
Meniscus is like 10% of what an ACL is...if he truly has a torn ACL they should just call it a year before he hurts more...I just hope it didnt happen AFTER Brands left him out there against NC St...either way he should have called it a match after the first injury stoppage....and Brooks was limping BEFORE the NC St match, he should have rested also...
Where is Austin Blythe??
Im going to go with YG07 was being tongue in cheek...based on his posting history that's the only thing that makes sense as to why he posted that!Preparing for a career in the NFL, 30 lbs over the limit, and 5 years removed from a wrestling room. And even at that it was a high school room. Why would anyone want him wrestling this weekend?
