How stupid, he has a mismatch on a higher % shot. Never take the 3 if you can get the easy basket inside.

When Uthoff was less aggressive we lost games. Where were the upset players in the Iowa State game?

I agree Uthoff needs to be aggressive and remain aggressive throughout the season for this Iowa team to go places. But just by the physical expressions from Uthoff's teammates, they seem frustrated when Uthoff goes into his iso mode. I've seen Gesell throw up his hands many times when Uthoff does this. Finally, there's video to prove it.

The situation was vs. Purdue at a pivotal point during the game. Iowa, from just being down 19, have made their way back to make this a 3 point game. Uthoff goes into back down mode and you see Dom Uhl (who was hot from 3) visibly upset that Uthoff didn't pass it. He throws up his arms in the air like "what the hell is he doing?" and looks over at Fran like Fran had this talk with Uthoff before.

He has it arms in the air because he is open, there nothing here to suggest they are frustrated that he MADE a basket.

It's how he did it. Everybody on Iowa had their hands up waiting to receive the pass. But you could tell Uhl was visibly frustrated (not upset) that he didn't get the ball there. You don't see Clemmons, Jok, or Gesell throw their hands up in frustration and look at coach once Uthoff shoots it. Like Uhl's physical expression clearly shows what he was feeling at that time Uthoff took the shot.

Give it up. Once he shot the ball Uhl's hands went down. The only thing clear here is a poster trying to stir the pot and put a negative spin on this team. How long did you have to search to find video of this "obvious frustration" shown by a bench player towards the teams best player. This is the most team oriented team I've seen in a long time and I really believe their success stems from the fact that they don't care who scores. Just enjoy the ride.

Yeah. As I watch him MAKE that shot, it frustrates me too. I was so devastated when he MADE that shot.
