Duke, KS, KY, North Carolina (not sure if this applies to MSU).
Either reload or implode because they have no depth. Who wants to go somewhere knowing 1st year starters will go to the next level and be replaced by another crop of the same.

Some of this might be COVID related.

4 of the Top 20 recruits skipped college this year. Last couple years it was only 2. Put those guys on a roster and the team would improve.

And then there's the stress / unease / weird of COVID. We saw some football teams that looked unusually bad this year. Others seemed to adapt well. It could be particularly hard for freshmen to focus and to learn in this environment.

Edit: For fun I looked at Duke history and they have finished in the Top 10 final AP poll in 20 of the last 23 seasons. I think they'll be okay. That's so sick.

Sparty's recent ecruiting classes don't seem to be living up to their 4* ratings. Shit happens. Nothing to do with 1 & done at MSU
