Also interesting that you think people not going to church is a strong sign of atheism. If that's true there are a LOT more atheists than there are Christians.

I am, and probably an 8 of 10. Converted to Roman Catholicism about five years ago, because it made sense. By which I mean, for all of its worldly problems and foibles, it generally spends a century or so thinking before speaking, is pretty open minded before it does speak, is remarkably coherent once it does, and is much more subtle about how it references “doctrine” versus mere “tradition” or mere “ritual” than most realize.
In a broader sense, I like how you framed the question - using “religious” rather than “spiritual”. While there is lots of good “philosophy” about how to live, that’s not really religion, properly defined, though it’s certainly a part of it. Religion is distinct in that it entails one’s relationship to the deity, where again, there is remarkable diversity of thought.
