This kid has been looking great for a few weeks now, minus the Missouri meet, which was a great match by Mayes. Strong work, Josh! Great to see him going out with a bang. Some teammates could learn a thing or two from Josh.

Outstanding! This is the thrill we all need and by an unlikely guy. Jeva has answered the bell, big time cowboy up moment and for that he is the Iowa Hawkeye Rockstar of the day!!!!!
I'd have to say that was the lowest number of lower level attacks at our 125 & 133 weights in regulation in any tournament I have ever witnesses the Hawks in.
Also a nice win for Sorenson. I too, hope he can find a little more offence, especially in the 1st. Just seems to come out a little slow, but over all the results are pretty darn good.
