*****Iowa vs Illinois Game Thread*****

8-17 on FTs...and it's the seniors missing at crucial times.

No senior leadership.

It appears maybe they are just bad shooting free throws 🤷‍♂️ I guess we use all these cliché things because they’ve used them in sports for so long just to explain simple tasks like making free throws…

Oh yeah, we made a free throw. That was great senior leadership there.

It’s funny. I’ve called you out many times for your bitchy attitude all last year and this is the most you’ve responded to me. I love it. Thank you for that.
Probably because I had you on ignore for so long. Your shtick of calling people out regularly without any word of the crap you post was old...and your leaving the site because of bad fans...but now you brag about all your friends in here...lol

Both Feuerbach and Affolter are from Illinois. Too much pressure when playing in the home state? They may need to ask Stuelke for advice on shooting free throws.

I think they will finish in the middle of the pack in the conference. Just like the men, when they shoot well, they will win, if not an L. TO's their Achilles heel, rebounding for men

2 of Iowa's biggest issues, turnovers and missed layups, continue.

(1) Illinois had 16 points off 18 IOWA turnovers.

(2) Iowa turned the ball over on 27.7% of their possessions.

(3) Iowa missed 5 layups (10-15).

(4) In addition: Illinois had a 14-7 advantage on 2nd chance points
This is not an anomaly. Maybe they can get it back, but they’ve regressed since the start of the year. They need to step it up. Like now.
