Their matches do not count for scoring. They wrestled to 9th place for these weights for wildcard purposes.

What was gilman supposed to do? The guy ran away and down blocked everything after he got the takedown. I'm getting so tired of watching this shit. Doesn't excuse gilman needing to take real shots but my god. I need to become an official

He only took 1 shot the entire match early.

Then ran while Gilman continually shot, and only get the token second stalling call with 8 seconds in the match.

Chicken shit refs could have forced him to keep wrestling by calling it with a minute left easily. He did nothing but block off after that first score.

About done watching d1 wrestling. Every match against top competitors resembles a heavy weight match. Boring with a bunch of stalling and the Iowa kids are just as guilty as anyone else. The refs are dog shit as well.

International with the new rules might be the way to go as far as watching good wrestling now.
