I am hearing that Manyawu is a lock for Iowa. Done deal. Another source says AD Hardin (Drake) is telling people the same thing about Cam.

Can anyone give us the details on Kael Combs? I just looked at his game log and it's a bit confusing. When he got minutes, he produced. However, he would 27 minutes one game and then 1-2 minutes the next. Was he injured?

Combs did not play much at all in the beginning of the year. I've told many on this board from the beginning that you either play defense or you sit. And his defensive schemes are pretty complicated. Once the season moved along a bit Combs got more time. He was really good as another ball handler off the bench, as Drake didn't really have anyone else besides Stirtz 98% of the time. Combs in the Valley was able to kind of bully ball his way inside and he had a nice little 5-6 ft shot he was able to get off. I really like his game, but he's not a big threat from outside, didn't take many 3's, which will be interesting to see if he can play that way in the B1G.Can anyone give us the details on Kael Combs?
