Best Job in Iowa: Iowa or Iowa State

Chris Jackson may have been the best college player of all time. I believe he averaged around 35 as a freshman. He was Curry in college. Not so much in the pros.

It wasn't long ago that pollard was bitching about student attendance for games that weren't iowa or KU. ISU fan support will revert to historical levels.
I believe the reason for Pollard bringing that up is because ISU saves way to many student section seats and fans who would like to attend games can not get tickets. They were trying to determine how many seats could be released to sell to the general public. So far I don't think any adjustment has been made.

ISU has almost if not all of the seats at the ends of the court from the court to the rafters reserved for students. Very few single game tickets are left for the general public to purchase and if there are any they are usually a single seat here and there. We live too far away to buy season tickets even if they were available or I would get on the season ticket waiting list.

I'm so glad you are not an Iowa fan.

Of course I wouldn't want to be a fan of a 2nd rate Big Ten school and team.

Can't wait for all this silly expectations to come crashing down to earth because lets keep it real there are only 5 Big 10s to even mention and Iowa no where close to it

Do those 5 Big 10s exist all at once? I have always wondered. PLEASE tell me you are a MIchigan State Graduate. :D

The better question is you all are havng a debate about if Iowa State or you all are better but in another thread saying yall gonna challenge for the Big 10...how sway when Iowa hasn't done anything since BJ armstrong.

(Oh and by the way in bball people think Iowa State is better but we barely care about them either)

How can that be a better question when you didn't even include a question mark? What does, "how sway" mean?

Nobody gives a shit about a 2016 phrase that barely has any cultural cache. Come the **** on.

We gonna throw "ratchet" and "thot" out there now? Right at the peak of their popularity? Christ.

What you want me to speak Iowa... Howdy Dowdy?? I guess that will make yall Iowa boys feel more comfortable for me to speak honky tonk with ya

Your troll attempt is sorry and weak.

Oh, and from my experience, most people in Iowa speak intelligible English with reasonable adherence to basic grammar. Do people in Michigan speak broken English and sound borderline retarded, or is that just unique to you?

Iowa State fan base: better.

Iowa job: better.

Iowa will get there some day. It may be 5-10-20 years from now, but we'll get there.

Hell, it might start this year.

I really think when you talk about what job is better in the state it is too close to call. I think they are pretty equal. The right coach can do well in either job but it doesn't take much for either school to fall off fast with the wrong coach. I do think that you will see more and more fan support for Iowa basketball as Fran continues to have them relevant. I think getting to the sweet sixteen would really help the image as well. I don't think they will get that far this year but can definitely see it next year.

Suddenly the Iowa State fan posts some complimentary stuff about Iowa. You've a long way to go to make up for a history of trolling.

I'd rather be big brother in our state than a little brother in any state (like MSU is)

I can attest to the Hilton stuff, in high school saw the Clones knock off Kansas and Oklahoma in back to back years there. It was electric. Alas, could not get those tickets to the 1987 game. Stupid LaFester.

But I agree, better to be in the B1G and our 50 million a year tv deal. But it's not just the money.

Sedge.
I remember an old blue hair telling me to be quiet at Carver during an OT game. The Hawkeyes have too much of a "whine" and cheese crowd.
