*****BIG games this weekend*****

Once they get past NW, that's when we'll see if they're the real deal or not.

Then maybe I need to read this a couple more times too.
Once they're done with NW, who is a B1G bottom feeder, then we'll see if they're the real deal or not as their schedule is as follows:
Nebraska
Washington
@Mich St
Michigan
@Ohio St

He's been reported, so he'll have to be making a new handle here in a few days.

For context, it's a mentally disabled Nebraska fan who snapped after his primary account got banned on the main board..........by Iowa fans no less. ;)

Just ignore him and his multiple handles and take the free likes.
Lol that doesn't do squat

Correct, Cade had a bad passing day, yet we were still moving the ball incredibly well against them, visiting the redzone a total of 3 times in the first half alone. The run was the only thing working against them in the second half, so we stuck with that after Cade's terrible INT. The reason we lost the game is because we failed to score in the redzone. Out of the two visits we didn't score, we only ran twice out of the eight plays we had.

The fact of the matter is that game we didn't need a big downfield threat to beat them. We proved that in the first half alone. Passing was a huge problem that day, but we didn't need it to beat them.
WTF??? We didn't beat them. It was a one point loss where they only scored 19 points, and the lack of any passing game whatsoever was a huge contributor to that losing effort. They needed it to be just below average and they win easily, but it wasn't. Saying they didn't need it in a losing effort is pretty much as asinine as it gets, but carry on.

Ummm... Duh? The point is, if we stuck with the run, we would've won. But we went to the pass and that's what caused us to lose. Literally every anaylist and commentator has said this about the game. You're starting to go off the rails here, so let's wrangle it back to the original argument: Was a downfield threat needed to beat the first four teams? Nope, because our run game destroyed Iowa State. We simply choked away the victory with bad redzone play calls. I'll leave you with this before you start waffling some more: think about what got us in the redzone to begin with. I'll give you a hint, it wasn't the pass.
