How does a fan base that has seen Spencer, Metcalf, and McIlravy stumble on the big stage say there’s no chance Star and Gable fall? I mean I don’t see it either and would be shocked but titans have and can fall.

I think it can happen to Star but not to Gable.
How the F am I trolling with that question? He looks like a dude ranked #15 not a medal candidate. I wasn’t aware of all his injuries so that makes sense.
Gable losing would be a bigger upset than Spencer losing to Ramos in my opinion.
Gable just is so relaxed and lazy looking out there. I hope he turns it on at nationals and destroys everyone. Leave no doubt he may be the best heavy in history.

I dont see hwt even being close. Star's match will be close because most of them are.
I think they said in the semis that Stars only decision win was against Angelo with the rest being bonus wins. Maybe that was just announcers fluff without knowing but it is what they said.
One just has to look at the giant shoulder brace he's wearing to get a good idea what's going on.

Shout out to JT for giving everything he's got. If not limited by injury, that man is so explosive and powerful, he would be a finalist not just tonight but in 2 weeks. That was a terrible loss to MSU though, hope it doesn’t bite him in the arse.
I'm not great with that part of it, but appears like he would be in a good spot to get a wild card. Not a shoe in, but has some good wins and decent ranking.
