I agree with that. I think in general stylistically this match up is in Drake's favor, but I get now is not the time to have this conversation, and would not have been surprised by a Byrd win before the match.
Hardy seems like a good guy. Hard to root against. But lets not act like Brands and our current transfer batch aren't old AF. And then there's Doctor KemDawg.
We don't have enough firepower left to catch them. We're closer to 5th than 2nd
Drake made a mistake and paid for it. Better now than in two weeks. I'm not concerned with Drake at NCAAs. The Hawks have to start game planning better for tough matches. Worrying about ourselves is why they lose rematches. Everyone else scouts us and takes away our strengths. We wrestle the same match over and over.
That takedown was early, but reversing it completely screws Bartlett. Refs consistently failing the test this weekend.
I miss the Penn St wrestling club site. They did a great job of updated scores and brackets. Still can't find team scores on track wrestling. Isn't track wrestling high school?

He has to wrestle smart and clean. I still think he is the better, more technical wrestler. But, theone thing that has scared me from the beginning of Ayala moving up to 133 is physical, “strength” positions. He just doesn’t have the firepower to fight out of those type of positions. Not that it is “easy” for anyone, but plenty of guys are “strong” enough to wing down and square up in that position…
I agree. How many times do they call a takedown and the guy charges what he is doing and then they take the take down away/ If the takedown ws not given the guy would have kept working in most cases and then would get the takedown. They have to do something with this video review crap.
Give a team 1 brick a tournament. We have 2 officials out there and if it is egregious enough to go to a review, then it will get reversed. If it is close, then a third party who was not watching the action should not be trying to figure it out from film. That will stop all this brick throwing crap.

I came into this year thinking the match up was impossible for Parco vs. Van Ness. Then in that first match, even though there was distance I could squint and see the path...I was right the first time. Just a brutal match up.
That is what the refs allow to happen all the time. What is so hard about understand about if you are not trying to score or improve position, you are stalling. Apparently, putting on a striped shirt makes it impossible to detect that.

Parco is not even close to Van Ness. Him and Ridge dominate him on top (Van Ness in nuetral too). Parco can beat anyone else at 149, just don't see him beating those two again.
Parco is not very good at hand fighting and his offense is limited when he's on his feet
