Just because I was reading about another guy complaining about our "scheme" in the Rose Bowl I happened to go and look at some video....man did we get toasted for a 42 yard TD on a blitz in that game...yikes. Honestly its not fun to talk football with most of these guys, I'm surprised pleasant guys like you stick around here all year? For me it's really aggravating. You've always been a fair and honest critic how do you stay in the saddle with these butchers of the Truth. Serious question?

I honestly think JP struggled down field (might be too small) and we threw it down field more than our fans can rememebr. Kind of his point. The typical fan (I mean MOST by the way) think "speed" gets you down field and although it does to a degree, if you can't go up and get the ball your useless.
Very, very few guys run open deep, the ball is usually contested to some degree.
During the season I hang out in the lounge. I cancel that after signing day.
I kind of get a kick out of watching them carry on like spoiled little bitches who didn't get the toy they wanted. It's hysterical to me.

I know the game. I know college football is all about getting the ball into the hands of your best playmakers as often as possible. I suspect KF hasn't always had the best WR strategy which goes to the issue of why a top 25 team like Iowa doesn't get many good WR recruits. Why would you want to come here and be told you're benched due to playbook knowledge and inability to block? You don't want to hear this, I understand... But as much as you ma believe I'm wrong with my views, I've got something here.
Was it a kick defending rudock while I told you every week cj was better? Just curious, or were you off to the lounge?
I'm so glad you said this I've already nailed this in another thread but that Jake Ruddock situation made KF look like a genius.
Had JR saddled off to some no-name college or even went to Michigan and got benched youd have a leg to stand on but sadly for you JR went to Michigan and looked good what was he the 3rd or 4th best QB in the Big Ten & had a hell of a season. All the while CJ had a great season here.
I know your logic poor so let me tell you what that suggested to all the people in the world that don't have an agenda… it said it truly was a very difficult decision, clearly JR had plenty of skill level and he proved it on the big stage yet old stubborn conservative KF rolled the dice made the very tough call and it worked out well for everyone and KF looks like one of the smartest Coaches in Fball to everyone but his harshest critics.
And you guys are too far behind the eight ball to even see it....

I will tell you though I do agree with your thinking on the recruiting I don't know why in the hell any college football recruit would come to Iowa if they read these message boards?! So that leads me to believe either they think you guys are complete idiots and don't have a clue what youre talking about or they may not read the board I hope that's the case at least

Well I didn't come here much during the season. Too many tools and trolls living here.
CJ is my guy now because he is the starter. Unlike you I don't know more than the coaches. You should have been a coach but I guess there is too much unfinished work left on the Internet. We appreciate your sacrifice of making millions to educate us all here. CJ was phenominal but I stand by my statement that before CJ got the nod after the Taxslayer Bowl that there was no evidence to support your choice. He had a stronger arm but I wasn't convinced he was any better. THe games he played in he wasn't very sharp. But he turned out to be pretty damn good. You were right.
OBTW, Jake Rudock had a pretty good year at Michigan. A record setting year for a MIchigan QB. I guess he must have sucked like you thought. But I suppose you didn't hear about that.
I support the guys on the field. I don't sit around like a bitch crying about things I have no say in. That's your department and you excel at it.
