Why would Tom be closely working with gable at this point? Dan is long retired. It's his turn to watch. Brands will be in that same position sooner than later.

No doubt!!!! Definitely no need to work closely with a legend, the gold standard of coaching. Just keep trying to do it your way, what insight could Gable even provide?

I don't think gable needs to be involved in any capacity other than public figure at this point. I know this is going to upset a lot of people but gable is not the answer to defeating penn state.

There is no ‘answer’ to psu. I would certainly look for any and all things that could help.
Take the best, leave the rest. Maybe the best use is just a public figure. Maybe not
