Get on the bus now, folks. That kid is gonna be a fun 4-year thrill ride for us Hawk fans.

Yeah I know the competition has been bakery-level so far, but wow-ee. That dude has got game & serious PG skills, and should arguably be starting after just his first 2 collegiate contests.

The timeline in his recruitment:

* Unofficially visited Iowa for the Jan 13, 2022 Indiana game after Kirk Speraw had watched him play in a game in person the day before (on Jan 12, 2022).

* Iowa offered June 20, 2022

* Unofficially visited June 22, 2022.

* Brock committed the next day, on June 23, 2022.

* Officially visited Sep 10, 2022 (Iowa State football game).

He was better then a 3 star recruit, I watched him for 3 years at Moline, the kid is magic with the ball....you don't lead your high school team to a first ever state 4A championship as a 3 star recruit, never happens....
You predicted he was a steal.

Don't want him going to the "no look" passing TOOO much, but its been really good when he does (so far).

His court vision and passing skills look incredible. Looks like a natural pure PG. He appears to be in good position defensively and has some quickness. In regards to his shooting, his appears to shoot with his feet close together and is not very balanced. Hope he can improve that aspect of his game. Overall, impressive so far.

He ended up as Moline's all time scorer, be it in 4 years as a starter. He got better every year he played for Moline and I expect he will adjust just fine at Iowa....

I think the floater? he clanged was supposed to be a pass as well. Maybe off glass to Freeman as he got both hands on it quickly

I know somewhere in the recruiting of him I found something in his game that I thought wouldn’t work on the next level. So long ago and I’d to rewatch the vid. I could be proven right, but I like what I’m seeing. Let’s jump on this man and get some NIL for him before he transfers.

He needs to cut down his turnovers.
I will take the turnovers if his Assist to Turnover rate continues to be close to 3 to 1. Most of the great passers have higher turnover numbers because they tend to try and make passes the most people can’t even see. Brock had 7 assists and 2 turnovers last night and played only 15 minutes. He will be starting by Christmas.
