Grew up a Hawk and will always remain a Hawk, but I've about had it until he's gone. Appointment television on Saturdays is about over with the state of this program and the unwillingness to even TRY to advance.

But you just know KF will say Cade shouldn’t lose his job to injury and put him out there Friday night to show he is in charge and try and prove CM can beat UCLA. KF will take a loss instead of let his ego take a hit. I’m just ready for the old man to get the record and retire. He is proving to be a hinderance for the program to move forward on the offensive side of the ball.

I think Sullivan should and will start as long as he is healthy and doesn't suck.

I specifically do not want this construed as some sort of snipe at KF, and I think KF wants what is good for Iowa Hawkeye football. You don't win a couple hundred games trying to send coded messages to the fans. This is not The DaVinci Code.

I like Sully, he’s a gamer. However, teams will game plan for him and eventually take that element away. KF is an idiot for not playing him sooner though. McNamara reduced Iowans chances to win. KF will play McNamara again though, and there will be no repercussions. He’s above reproach in Iowa.

Agree with this. The good teams with athletic players on defense will force Iowa to throw the ball further than 8 yards.

If Sullivan had the accuracy of a deep ball like Beathard then Iowa would stack up really well against the better teams.

Of course Iowa would need better WR than have now. Sullivan could have been 9/10 last night if we had guys who can freaking catch. Oh and an OL that can pass block. Very important too haha
