Former President Donald Trump and his vice president, Mike Pence, will be among the speakers addressing an Iowa Christian conservative group’s event later this month.
Trump announced Wednesday that he will speak via video to the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition’s annual spring fundraiser on April 22 at the Horizon Events Center in Clive. While the other speakers will appear at the event, Trump will deliver his remarks remotely, his campaign said.
Previously confirmed speakers at the event, which the group announced earlier this week, include Pence, Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, Vivek Ramaswamy, Perry Johnson, Will Hurd, Larry Elder and Tulsi Gabbard.

The Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition invited 20 official and potential Republican presidential candidates to speak at the event.
Tickets cost $60 for an individual or $100 for a couple. Tickets can be purchased at ffciowa.com. Questions can be sent to events@ffciowa.com or by calling (515) 971-7363.
Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., is set to appear as the featured guest at Republican U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra's third annual Family Picnic on May 13 at the Dean Family Classic Car Museum in Sioux Center, the Sioux City Journal reported.
The trip would be DeSantis' second to Iowa since the start of 2023 and his first to Siouxland. Feenstra, a 4th Congressional District representative in his second term, made the event announcement on Twitter on Wednesday.
Though DeSantis, a two-term incumbent, hasn’t officially declared as a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, polling averages from firms such as Morning Consult show him having the second-best support among GOP primary voters after former President Donald Trump.
