We get plenty of lumber from here in the States besides that Brazil, Germany exports plenty of lumber into the U.S.
A tariff on lumber from Canada doesn't impact me dramatically, the price of lumber goes up or down depending on storms, etc.

As a longtime fertilizer distributor in a past life, I can see increased input costs due to the majority of our potash products coming from Canada (Saskatchewan) and ....Russia. We can get our phosphates from Florida, but potash will get expensive

I honestly don't think the majority of his followers live their life as a bully because they're not capable of doing it mentally, physically, or financially. But that's the draw to trump, these followers feel like they're part of the bully team so it makes them feel relevant. The followers finally feel like they're part of the cool group, when in reality they're just followers with personal issues.

That is so wrong it’s scary you feel that way. He is a dictator using the US to get what he wants, which is power. He doesn’t care about you or me or anyone but himself. People in Germany felt the same way about hitler as you do about trump. The problem is, when the person is mentally flawed as a narcissist with no values, then you get bad results, even if they show some sign of positive for some people. He is trying to take over other countries just like past dictators. In the end we, as a country, will be on our own. It doesn’t have to be that way.
